About

Welcome To Ariel's Dance Academy

At Ariel's Dance Academy, in Angus, Ontario, we believe dance is about more than learning steps, it's about building confidence, developing lifelong skills, and creating meaningful connections through movement. Our goal is to inspire a love of dance while providing high-quality instruction in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels valued.

We are passionate about passing on both the art and discipline of dance to the next generation, helping children develop strong technical foundations while fostering creativity, teamwork, perseverance, and self-confidence. Every class is designed to challenge, support, and celebrate each dancer as they grow.

More than anything, we strive to create a welcoming community where friendships flourish, families come together, and every dancer can discover the joy of movement while making memories that last a lifetime.

Ariel Brown

Ariel Brown is the founder and director of Ariel's Dance Academy, where she is dedicated to creating a positive, welcoming environment that inspires confidence, encourages personal growth, and fosters a lifelong love of dance.

Ariel's dance journey began at the age of nine with Hip Hop before expanding her training to Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Over more than 10 years of training, she competed at regional and national competitions across North America, developing not only strong technical skills but also a deep appreciation for the discipline, creativity, and friendships that dance can inspire.

Since beginning her teaching career in 2017, Ariel has worked with both recreational and competitive dancers ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years. She has taught technique and choreography across multiple styles and believes every dancer deserves to feel encouraged, challenged, and celebrated throughout their dance journey, regardless of age or experience.

Ariel is certified with Acrobatic Arts and Aerial Arts, holds Standard First Aid & CPR Certification, maintains a current Vulnerable Sector Check, and is a graduate of Georgian College's Business program. She is committed to providing high-quality instruction while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for every dancer.

Inspired by her own experiences, Ariel founded Ariel's Dance Academy with the goal of passing on her passion for dance to the next generation. She believes dance is about much more than learning steps—it's about building confidence, developing resilience, forming meaningful friendships, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Whether a dancer is taking their very first class or continuing to build their skills, Ariel hopes every student leaves the studio feeling fulfilled, happy, confident, and excited to come back each week.
